Half way through!!!!!!!!

Hello All,
We are at halftime of our summer project! Things have been amazing here! I have been growing and learning so much! I am so blessed to be here with my team doing God's work and bring people the wonderful saving new of his son and glory of his Kingdom. This past week was a little difficult because it is study week and not as many student were on campus. But God is not stopped due to studying, we have still seen students accept Christ even during busy times. God is good!!

So far we have over 600 initiations, about 150 Gospel exposures and 10 students pray to receive Christ! Our God is greater and stronger and higher than any other!

I have been able to grow more than I ever though possibe and I can't wait to see how much more there is to come. I am usually stuck in my ways but God has opened my eyes to the opportunities I have been missing out on. Last Friday I played ultimate frisbee with our team and it was AWESOME!!! I will be doing it again today! I can't wait!

I am sure there is much much more I can say but I can't think right now.
Thank you to all who are praying and please continue to do so!
Goodbye for now!

One week in!!

This will be brief, I only have a few minutes
The plane ride was not bad at all! There is a long story that goes with it...long story short...God was watching out for us all.
Adjusting to Australia hasn't been bad for me at all.
The first week has been crazy but fun and we have already seen one guy come to Christ!! It is such a blessing to be here with such an amazing team.
I am working on approaching people. It is still hard for me but I will learn.
We had a bbq and a tour of Brisbane yesterday. It was great!
I had a chance to try kangaroo but I opted not to.
I will try to update more if I am able to.
Thanks,

~Bryn

ONE DAY!! Last blog for a while

So it is Saturday morning and I am trying to get everything together for this epic 6 week mission trip to Brisbane Australia! I still can't believe that this is happening. There is so much to get done....I don't even know where to begin! Not to mention that I am attending a wedding today that is about two to two and a half hours away from me! That will take up a big chunk of my day. Honestly I shouldn't be blogging right now...but I want to :)
I didn't get much sleep last night and I probably won't get a whole lot tonight either. I have had so much on my mind that it wouldn't let me sleep.
Yesterday was my last day of work till July...and I was informed that I may be terminated from the job for not working!!----that is exactly what I needed to hear before I leave----that really helped my stress level! Good news is that managers reassured me that I will be able to come back and apply again once I get back. I don't fully understand but then again I do.
I am really hoping I will be able to get some sleep on the flight to Brisbane...if not I will be in trouble.
We have calculated that I will be in the day of May 24th for about 8 hours or so and then in July 2nd for about 38 hours!!! oh the joy of traveling---time travel is possible!
We fly out Monday the 23rd at night and land Wednesday the 25th around 5am---which will be about 3 in the afternoon EST on May 24th!
Anyway, prayers for me and my team. We are excited and blessed for this opportunity.
Update as soon as possible

ONE WEEK!!!!

We are now down to just one week till I am in Minneapolis and the project has officially begun. We won't be to Brisbane till early morning May 25th (their time) but we are still saying a week. By crunching my support numbers...I have reached my goal!!!!! My support is complete (as long as everything goes through).

Yesterday was an interesting day....Aaron graduated from UNCC!!! We were able to spot him among the sea of black gowns and he was able to spot us. I then had work later that day. We figured we might run into a time crunch so I brought my work clothes. As we got to the restaurant for lunch my dad asked me if I had my work shoes......that would be a negative!!!!!! So I worked my first 30 minutes of my shift in my heals, until my mom brought my shoes and dinner! It actually wasn't too bad. My feet were hurting by the end of my 8 hour shift. I put my heals back on, thinking it would help my feet feel better...and amazingly, it did!

Will have to find time this week to work on my packing list and get everything ready.
Praying for strength and energy!

The countdown continues!

Ok we are now down to 10 days till Minneapolis...then two more days till Brisbane! I got my roommate assignments for the summer and I am so excited to be staying in the villa with those 4 girls. There is a possibility that I will have my own bed this summer, which is such a blessing!!!

There are still many things that need to get done before I leave. The main thing is the marathon of work I am scheduled for. I work every single day until the day before I leave. I also have a wedding to attend the day before I leave! I am wondering how I will find time to pack up everything I need. I am sure I will find a way.

My support is going well. I have pretty much raised all my support. There has been $25 missing from my support since the beginning. So, hopefully we will get that straightened out.

Prayers for my team and for their support.
Prayers that we are all preparing for this opportunity the best we can.
Prayers for safety, hope, love, grace, faith and peace!

Well, the day is getting closer and closer! About 16 days left will I am off to Minneapolis then Dallas the next day, then off to Brisbane! I don't think the reality has quite hit me yet. I have way to much stuff to get done before I go, so I am trying to focus on that. My work has scheduled me just shy of 100 hours in the 3 week break between school and the project! Needless to say, they are using me while they can! Luckily, that translates to money which then means more available for shopping in Brisbane ;)

AMAZING NEWS! with my support! ALL I NEED IS $80 TO REACH MY GOAL!!! JUST $80! So exciting and grateful to all those who has contributed to the lives of those you have never met!

Counting down!

About 20 more days to go till we are boarding the plane for Brisbane!! I just moved out of my dorm today and have a very busy week ahead of me for work. They scheduled me 34 hours this week! I guess since they know I am not going to be able to work for 6 weeks, that they are going to use me while they can lol :) But I am not complaining, time=money!

Speaking of money, I received another donation! So I only need about $130 more to make my minimum goal! The Lord has blessed me tremendously.

I am so busy with all the things I need to get done before I leave. It is overwhelming and I am praying for strength and will be able to get everything done!

First Blog!!

Just set up the blog for my Australia summer project and I am so excited! I get to spend 6 weeks in wonderful Brisbane with my awesome team of fellow Campus Crusade members sharing the good news of Jesus!

I have a few more days of the spring semester and then I will be home, working and getting ready for this adventure! I am incredibly nervous and anxious but know that this is a wonderful opportunity and I don't want to miss a minute of it!

About 27 days to go before we are flying out to Brisbane....well...actually we fly to Dallas Texas then a 16 hour flight to Brisbane, but you get the jist! I have been very blessed with my support. I am at about 92% of my goal...have about $400 more to raise! God has provided more than I ever thought possible and I can't wait to see what else he has in store for me and my team.

I would have to say that right now the thing I am most fearful of is my luggage not making all the connections and getting to Australia with me! I am sure this is a normal fear for many.
